A third shooting occurred in Tukwila, although no injuries were reported. However, the violence continued into the early hours of Tuesday morning when two additional shootings took place on southbound I-5 near State Route 18 and 54th Street, close to the Tacoma Mall. In these final incidents, two more individuals were injured.
Washington State Patrol confirmed that the suspect in at least three of these shootings was apprehended by Fircrest Police shortly after the final attacks. The suspect's vehicle, which matched descriptions from the earlier incidents, was found by authorities, leading to the arrest.
